What’s The Difference Between Facebook Profiles vs. Facebook Business Pages?
A Facebook profile that you likely do that’s what you set up when you set up your Facebook account. so you go to facebook.com and you set up your profile. A profile is primarily used for your friends and family and to communicate with them, post your family photos of your vacation, and just interact and keep up your relationship with friends you haven’t seen for a long time that’s the purpose of your profile.
A Facebook page is for your business. That’s where you promote your business, your product, your brand. It’s primarily for your business to build a relationship with your clients and let people know what you’re up to in your business so a Facebook page is indexed by google.
so you’re going to get in the search engines with it as well as you can build applications into. your page, so you can reflect your brand through different graphics and different applications as well as photos and videos.so there’s a lot of rich applications you can add to your page.
You should maintain 80/20 rule to your profile accounts, where 80% of your communication should be about relationships in your personal life and building those relationships with your friends and family. The other 20% u can talk about your business lets people know what’s going on in the business.
When it comes to the page you should maintain 80% about your business.promoting your business building relationships letting people know what type of business you are doing and what’s going on in your business.and 20% on your business page can be your personal life. everyone wants to know who you are. they don’t buy from a brand or logo.they want to buy from you.
How to create a Facebook business page?
You might be shocked that 2.5 billion people use Facebook every month, and more than 140 million other businesses already use Facebook to connect with that massive audience.
This is why people use the business page to make a strong relationship with the customer effectively.
anyone who runs a business can grow their product sales, brand value, and get their return profit by using a business page.
So, let’s dive into how to create a business page. To create a Business page you need to follow the steps which are given below:
Sign up: Before creating a business page, you need to log into your personal Facebook account. without login that can’t be possible. you might be worried about the information from your main account will not be publicly visible on your business page.in this case, you have nothing to worry about. because both will run separately from each other.
So, if you’re not already logged into your account, log in and go to the top right side search bar. you can see the Create button beside home simply just click on that create button.
After clicking on the create button now Select what type of page you want to create: business/brand or community/public figure. This time I’ll only discuss the business page. Next time I’ll try to do another post of a community/public figure.
ok now select business or brand and hit that get started button.
after clicking on that another window will pop up “Business or brand”.enter your business or page name on that section, then chose Business type category (facebook will suggest some of the relevant categories)
Add profile picture: In this part, you’ll have to upload a profile and cover images for your Facebook page. It creates an authentic identity for your business.so take your time and make a logo or image that will represent your business.
If you already have a renowned brand, using your logo is probably a safe way to go. or if you’re a local business, try a well-shot image of your signature offering. The important thing is to help a potential follower or customer to recognize your page immediately. your Facebook profile picture displays at 170 x 170 pixels on a desktop and 128 x 128 pixels on mobile. It will be cropped to a circle, so don’t put any critical details in the corners. In the same way, you should upload a cover photo or video to your page. If you have done the same your page home page will look like the given photo bellow
Create your username: You should create a unique username. because your username will be used as a brand keyword. so that people can quickly find your page by searching on the search bar.
Your username should be small and unique.bt you can use 50 characters long, my suggestion is don’t use extra characters just because you can.
Click Create Username when you’re done. A box will pop up showing you the links people can use to connect with your business on Facebook and Messenger.
Add your business details: it’s mandatory to fill out all of the fields in your Facebook Page’s About section right from the start.
when someone new will visit your page they might often try to figure out the information about you and your business or your product.
having all your valid information there is important. For example, if someone is looking for a product that you sell so often.
if they get this information on your page.they might never want to visit another page.
or if they don’t get that information that they’ll surely keep looking until they find another more forthcoming place. as a result, you may lose your real prospect.
To start filling out your business details, click Edit Page Info in the top menu. From this screen, you can share all the important information about your business.

Can you create a business page on Facebook without a personal account?
No. You can’t create a new Facebook business page unless there is a personal account attached to it. The reason behind this, Facebook requires all pages to have an administrator who can manage the profile and assign roles to other individuals in a company for other admins and contributors.
